Technical details:

• EXC Monitoring ist technically a component of the SAP certified EPO XML Connector.
  For evaluation and tests the EPO XML Connector must be installed.
• Function modules
  /EPO1/EXC_STORE_REQUEST and
  /EPO1/EXC_STORE_RESPONSE
  can be inserted in every existing interface (from SAP NetWeaver 7.00 also as enhancement). This creates entries into the central interace tables, which can be monitored at runtime or by scheduled jobs.
• EPO XML Connector interfaces are automatically monitored.
