EPO XML Connector, SAP, Integrationen
Details: A well-known point of sale system will be installed and connected via the EPO XML Connector to SAP. Master data (material, prices) is delivered by SAP (SAP Outbound service of the connector). Transaction data is taken in online to SAP using the EPO XML Connector (SAP Inbound service of the connector). SAP XI is not used. All other SAP interfaces like interfacing with Java applications are currently done via the SAP Business Connector, but it will be changed in foreseeable future to the EPO XML Connector.

Details: EPO XML Connector is used for integrating Metastorm BPM with SAP. The upgrade to the EPO XML Connector was done in 2007. The reason was to be able to implement a SAP FI integration with SAP standard program RFBIBL00. FI postings via RFBIBL00 are now implemented as a web service using the EPO XML Connector.
