EPO XML Connector (EXC) with own repository for interfaces
The latest version of the EPO XML Connector contains a repository, where information about mapping and interface structures can be stored. Beside classical flat structures most complex structures and their mappings can be stored securely. All this is done in ABAP as usual. In other words SAP workbench with all its numerous features like standard transports is used. All examples delivered with EXC were changed using the new repository feature. This underlines again the superior architectural design of the EXC. Requirements on flexibility and protection of investments for SAP interfaces cannot be matched better by any other product.
End of the year version 2.0 of the EXC will be released with new features like much improved monitoring functions. It will be possible to send out status messages at runtime or on a regular basis as e-mail or in any other form. Connecting EXC with other monitoring platforms will be easily possible. Another new function allows to connect existing interfaces and IDOC interfaces very easy with EXC. This brings advantages like using monitoring of the EXC.
